Legal Requirements

Pueblo School District No. 70 will work with families requesting a transfer. Help on your part as a parent or guardian will ensure a smooth transition. We require the following in order to help you:

  1. Verification of residency
    • Property sale contract
    • Rental contract
    • Utility statement
  2. Legal custodial arrangements
    • A notary of guardianship CRS 15-14-104
    • Divorce decree with guardianship rights
  3. Students not residing within the attendance boundaries of the enrolling school will not be accepted after October 1st. Students enrolling after October 1st may be asked to provide verification of residency.
