I was raised in Florence Colorado and while I was growing up I attended Florence elementary, middle and high school from which I graduated in 1999.
After graduation I went onto college at Colorado State University in Ft. Collins Colorado. While at CSU, I eventually ended up studying Social Studies and Teaching after trying a few other areas. I wanted to be a Woodworking teacher at the time but the program was not offered.
After completing all of my course work I student taught at Cherry Creek High School in Denver Colorado and graduated from college in 2003.
I started teaching at Skyview in 2004 and have been here ever since.
In 2004, I started my masters degree and graduated in 2006 with a Master of the Arts in Technology Education from Ball State University.
